Splice by Cadence Architects

Splice is a commercial building located in India. The architect who designed this building is Cadence Architects. This 25’x 100’ building is not like the other similar typically commercial complex building that build as a ‘type’ is conceived as a generic glass box or clad with standard materials like ACP. This Splice has a lot of modification such as the appearance interior and exterior are designed not just conceived as a two dimensional flat surface but as a three dimensional composition of trapezoidal objects stitched together by a graphic recess that runs across the building and the change of the windows design, make it beautiful, unusual, and slicky slick. The design also out of the box from the usual other similar typically commercial complex building just like altering the conventional wall section, i.e. the typical floor, sill and lintel heights and constantly varying them along the length of the building the intention was to alter the horizontal reading of the elevation. Those modification brings the brand new design of the building, make it greater and different from the building on the neighborhood.
